BromaTech was founded in 1976 by David A. Lysak, a chemical engineer with an extensive background in applied food research and development.  Over the last nearly four decades, David has co-founded a number of companies that were mandated to manufacture commercially everything from dry blending and chocolate refining to the production of cold extruded snack and nutrition bars.  Today, using this know-how in chocolate manufacture, he has assembled a permanent professional staff of dedicated researchers.

BromaTech maintains R&D laboratories equipped to accomplish technical programs to address a wide spectrum of R&D categories.   In addition to on-site capabilities, BromaTech has access to pilot facilities and can identify commercial-scale manufacturers when required for scale-up activities.
